The Gold Museum is a website dedicated to discovering every bit of information on every gold coin and gold bar available. We intend to find all the details and put them on one website so that you can find the information you need. We will not sell coins directly but hope to enable you to know as much as possible about a coin you are interested in before a trade. We also want to help you verify the coins you have in your possession.

Gold Basics

From the popular gold Krugerrand coin to the basics of buying gold bullion up to the most collectible (and expensive) gold bars, we hope to help you discover the intricacies of gold, not just as an investment but as a store of wealth. We believe that gold is the ultimate currency, proven by centuries of holding value through the best of times and the worst of times. If you see that we are missing a gold coin or gold bar, please let us know and we'll add it right away.

Your gold coins on display

We don't own every coin we display, but we hope you do! If you have one of the coins and are willing to take a picture, we'd love to display it in place of what we have on our site. Take a picture of your gold coin or gold bar and send it to us and we'll add it to our museum for all to see.
